మీలో creativity అనేది బాగా ఉండి, humanity ని deep గా study చేయాలనుకుంటే, Arts మీకు best option. Arts లో History, Political Science, Geography main subjects. Science లేదా Commerce లో ఎన్ని opportunites ఉన్నాయో, అంతే exciting and interesting career opportunites ఉండటం వలన ఈ రోజుల్లో చాలా మంది students Arts/Humanities streamను choose చేసుకుంటున్నారు.

ఇప్పటివరకు main streams గురించి తెలుసుకున్నాం. ఇప్పుడు Vocational Streams. అంటే, వృత్తిపరమైన subjects గురించి తెలుసుకుందాం.

4. Vocational Streams:

Many boards 10th తర్వాత Vocational Streamsను అందిస్తాయి. వీటిని చేయడం వలన 12th పూర్తయిన వెంటనే job చేసే ఆ skill set, opportunity మనకి వస్తాయి. మీ institution ని బట్టి, Accountancy and Taxation, Auto Shop Repair and Practice, Business Operations and Administration, Capital Market Operations, Civil Engineering Technician, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Production, Hospitality Management, Music Production, Textile Design, Web Applications, etc. వంటి subjects ని మీరు vocational streams లో subjects గా choose చేసుకోవచ్చు.

అయితే, family పట్ల financial responsibilities వంటి various reasons వల్ల 11thలో ఈ streams ని choose చేసుకోవడానికి లేదా higher education ని ఇష్టపడని students చాలా మంది ఉన్నారు. So, school పూర్తయిన తర్వాత easyగా jobని తెచ్చుకోవాలనుకునే students కోసం ITI’s, Polytechnic Diplomas, Vocational courses అనేవి ఉన్నాయి. వాటి గురించి ఇప్పుడు చూద్దాం!

i. ITI (Industrial Training Institute):

ఇవి schooling ని పూర్తి చేసిన తర్వాత easy గా job తెచ్చుకోవాలి అనుకునే students కి course లను అందించే institutions. ఏదైనా technical courseను తక్కువ timeలో పూర్తి చేయాలనుకునే students కి ITI courseలు the best. ITI courseల duration six months నుంచి two years వరకు ఉంటుంది.

ITIలో course పూర్తి చేయడం ద్వారా, student Industrial skills లో full grip అనేది పొందుతాడు మరియు అదే fieldలో పని చేయడం ద్వారా life ని కూడా successful గా lead చేయగలుగుతాడు.

Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance, Draughtsman (Civil), Mechanic (Auto Electricals & Electronics), Interior Decoration and Designing, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Baker and Confectioner, Sheet Metal, Plumbing, etc. అనేవి Top ITI courses.

మీరు PWDల వంటి public మరియు private రంగాలలో ఉద్యోగం చేయచ్చు లేదా మీరే చిన్న startup లాగా పెట్టుకోవచ్చు.

ii. Polytechnic courses:

10th తర్వాత students Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Automobile వంటి Polytechnic courseలకు వెళ్లవచ్చు. ఈ colleges 3 years, 2 years మరియు 1 year పాటు diploma courseను అందిస్తాయి. 10th తర్వాత ఈ course లు చేయడం వల్ల తక్కువ ఖర్చుతో, తక్కువ time లో jobs అనేవి పొందొచ్చు. Engineeringలో 3-సంవత్సరాల diploma course మీరు చేస్తే, మీకు B.E/B.Tech లో direct గా 2nd year లో lateral entry పేరుతొ join కావచ్చు.

Career options after the Polytechnic course: 

 1. Private Sector jobs 

 2. Government Sector jobs 

 3. Higher studies

iii. Vocational courses

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and National Skill Qualification Framework (NSFQ) ద్వారా ప్రభుత్వం అందించే job-oriented course లే ఈ Vocational courses. వీటి duration 1 నుండి 2 years వరకు ఉంటుంది.

Software Development, Fashion Designing, Desktop Publishing(DTP), Jewellery Designing, Travel & Tourism, Medical Imaging, etc.అనేవి market లో available గా ఉన్నVocational courses.

చూసారుగా ఎన్ని దారులు ఉన్నాయో?! ముందు చెప్పినట్టుగా ఒక్క నిర్ణయం మీ rest of the life ఎలా ఉండబోతుందో decide చేస్తుంది. కాబట్టి, ఎవరో చెప్పారని, లేదా మీ friends choose చేసుకున్నారు అని కాకుండా, మీ strengths and మీ interests కి తగ్గట్టుగా choose చేసుకోండి. ఎందుకంటే, బలం ఉన్న చోటే ఎవరైనా రాణించగలరు. నీళ్ళల్లో ఈదే చేపని చెట్టు ఎక్కమంటే ఎక్కుతుందా చెప్పండి? ఎందుకంటే, దాని బలం అది కాదు. నీళ్ళల్లో ఈదటం దాని బలం, దాని skill!

తల్లితండ్రులు కూడా మీ పిల్లలు ఎక్కడ బాగా రాణించగలరో, ఎక్కడ వారికి బలమైన skills ఉన్నాయో, అక్కడే వారిని encourage చేయండి. వాళ్ళకి ఇష్టం లేని చోట వాళ్ళని పంపించే ప్రయత్నం చేసి, దయచేసి వాళ్ళు చేతకాని వాళ్ళని ముద్ర వేయద్దు! ఆలా చేస్తే, ఇందాక చెప్పినట్టు, ఓ చేపని చెట్టు ఎక్కమని బలవంతం చేస్తే, ఏం జరుగుతుంది? అది నా నోటితో వేరే చెప్పాలా? చూస్తున్నాం కదా... ఎంతమంది students pressure తట్టుకోలేక suicides చేసుకుంటున్నారో! ఇష్టం ఉన్న చోట కష్టం ఉండదు!

ఒక్కటి చెబుతా గుర్తుపెట్టుకోండి...
